My Masters thesis was accepted as a book chapter in Arts Management: Insights, Perceptions & Narratives. The chapter is called Hong Kong Imaginary: Cultural policy and identity in the city-state. The paper suggests that there is a reciprocal affect between policy and local identity in Hong Kong that impacts arts and culture industries. The colonial impact of both the UK and PRC governments has not allowed cultural policy to forward localist creative policy as they need to align with central authorities.
I wrote this masters thesis through the Covid-19 pandemic, so I am especially thrilled that my hard work under trying conditions was rewarded with this published book chapter.
